The White Lotus is reportedly heading to France for its fourth season.
Sources tell Deadline that Mike White and his crew have not yet selected the hotel that will be used as their filming location. However, due to the show’s tie-in with the Four Seasons, many speculate that the HBO show will be using the popular Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera.
HBO declined to comment.
At the end of season three, White stated, “For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves of rocks vernacular but there’s always more room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels.”
Season three saw the anthology travel to Asia for the first time, setting up shop in Koh Samui and Bangkok, Thailand. It starred Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Rockwell, Scott Glenn, Natasha Rothwell and Jon Gries.
