I pay for social programs to take youths off the street. I literally pay for people I have elected to sort these problems out and improve my community.#

  21. The family member who used to constantly bleat that ‘charity should begin with looking after our boys’ used to iron the same poppy year after year because he was too mean (and mean spirited) to buy a new one.

    I’m not saying it’s a pattern, but he was also estranged from his wife and kids because of alcohol and abuse issues, he reveled in his not-so-casual racism, and the only thing he seemed to be good at was playing the victim and sponging off his close family.

    But he’s dead now, so yay!

  26. The argument is nonsense anyway. Our homeless are mostly in B and Bs, if they aren’t getting social housing or help with private rent. What they usually mean are rough sleepers and most of those aren’t sleeping rough due to not having access to housing.
