Hitler was Jewish like Zelensky, they are the worst antisemites: upheaval on the words of Lavrov in an interview on Rete4 (Italian TV channel owned by Berlusconi)

The controversy about the interview of the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, last night at Zona Bianca, on Rete 4, has not subsided. About forty minutes of intervention in which the diplomatic chief of Moscow has spoken of the war in Ukraine (or rather of the “special mission”), the sins of the West, the nuclear threat and the reaffirmed intention of Russia to denazify the neighboring country. On this last point he said: “It means absolutely nothing that Zelensky has Jewish origins, even Hitler had them in my opinion”. And then he added: “We have long heard the wise Jewish people say that the greatest anti-Semites are precisely the Jews.”
The Russian Foreign Minister insisted a lot on this point, which – by the way – continues to be the very weak official reason from Moscow to motivate the invasion of Ukraine: “Nazification exists – Lavrov stressed – the members of the Azov Battalion have swastikas both on their uniforms and tattooed on their bodies”, as well as “symbols of Nazi battalions, of the SS” and then “openly read and support Mein Kampf”. Lavrov’s words about Hitler and his alleged Jewish origin did not go unnoticed. Dani Dayan, president of Yad Vashem – the Museum of Memory in Jerusalem – attacked: “Lavrov’s statements are false, delusional, dangerous and worthy of any condemnation”. Then in the morning came the news of the summoning of the Russian ambassador in Tel Aviv for “clarifications” after Lavrov’s “serious” statements, defined “unforgivable and outrageous” by Foreign Minister Lapid: “The Jews did not kill themselves in the Shoah. The lowest level of racism against Jews is to accuse the Jews themselves of anti-Semitism”.
According to the Russian minister, Moscow’s intention is not to overthrow Zelensky: “We are not aiming at regime change in Kiev, this is a specialty of the Americans – he said – We are not even asking for him to surrender. What we are asking is for it to stop hostilities and let civilians go. We want to make sure that no more threats to Russia come from Ukraine.” During the interview, Lavrov also took issue with Italy: “We were used to the idea that, thanks to your history, you could distinguish white from black”. And on the end of the war he explained that May 9 is nothing but a recurrence: “Our military does not plan actions according to a date”.

Wow, just wow. I would think this could only be uttered by drunk shitheads in some pub, not a diplomat. Admittedly, a horrible, shitty diplomat from a facsist country, but still…
Lavrov has gotten so used to substituting diplomacy with trolling the west, that he has no clue about when one should stop.
