Warm and summery weather in Latvia will continue until the middle of next week, but rain will become more frequent again, according to forecasts.
Saturday is expected to see the highest temperatures. During the night on Saturday, short-term rain is expected in places in all regions, while during the day, especially towards the evening, it will rain in many parts of Kurzeme and the central part of the country, with thunderstorms possible in Zemgale and Vidzeme. The minimum temperature at night will be 13 to 18 degrees Celsius, the maximum during the day +22 C to +27 C, around +20 C in parts of Kurzeme.
Also on Sunday, short showers in many places with thunder are possible. Night temperatures +13 C to +18 C, day +19 C to +25 C.
The weather will remain warm until Thursday next week, with daytime highs of +19 C to +24 C, while night temperatures will be at +9 C to +14 C and +15 C to +16 C in places along the coast. It will rain more often in Kurzeme, but the weather will be mostly sunny.
Current forecasts suggest that it will gradually turn colder towards the end of next week.
