  1. While are they ‘on the brink”?

Does the Express want a Reform government that much?

  2. I’m sure all the Redditors who supported her earlier this week will tell us how she has done nothing wrong here.

  3. Good.

Of course she should be forced by law not to profit from her time in office considering how she left. Sadly I feel talk, job offers etc due to her connections will flood in.

  4. Mayfair lunches, £800k second properties. Shes of the people comrades

  5. How long until she’s on I’m A Celebrity getting a £250k payday?

  6. She had potential but betrayed her background and couldn’t resist the greed that often comes with power.

  7. The Daily Abscess pretending a resignation is an immediate sign of a general election. Ffs.

  8. lol I love have the news can ignore £millions of doggy ppe contracts to mates but pounce for £40k

  9. Labour absolutely are not “on the brink” despite Express Journalists wetting themselves at the prospect.

There isnt going to be an election for nearly four years. End of.

  10. I think this just proves that it doesn’t matter what background you come from, anyone in a position of power is capable of corruption.

She had the chance to become prime minister and blew it all over £40K.

  11. ‘On the brink’ 🤣🤣🤣

    Bless the Express.

Looks like a genuine mistake and responsibility taken for it.

It’s clear that the like of the Express hated her for who she was and where she came from. Well, they’ve got what they wanted!

  12. I would imagine that Starmer right now is feeling the ultimate expression of ambivalence.

On the one hand, he needs this like a hole in the head.

On the other, speaking from a more Machiavellian perspective, Rayner was probably his only serious internal threat within the party.

  13. The whole “it was in a trust, I listened to my advisors” was a load of shite.

She was full well told, put this house in a trust and you can get away with stamp duty if you buy another property… but she’s been caught.

  14. She did the right thing.. they had to wait for the ethics committee.. they did .. she broke the code.. she resigned.. shame her disabled son was dragged into the press because of it but as others have said the mail and express have got their pound of flesh

  15. The housing minister caught dodging tax on housing.(of many)
The corruption minister caught being corrupt.
The Homeless minister makes their tenants (of many) homeless.

At what point do we wake up people?! At what point do we actually hold these people responsible?

The boats and immigration being all that’s fed to us (by billionaire owned media) that’s solely highlighted as the problem to cause inward fighting between the masses (us Vs them, or left Vs right) is solely to distract us that there’s a clown show going in. A clown show with 0 accountability and full of corruption.

All these MPs that allow for shitty regulatory bodies (that are supposed to look out for us, the many) all lean towards corporate favouritism. MANY of those same MPs go sit in the boards of these regulators and Corporations after their stints in gov.

At what point do we concede that the current broken corrupt system doesn’t work and needs a rework/redesign? Between the wastage and 0 accountability for anything, how do we expect anything to get better?

  16. All the hype around Labour, all the ‘let’s get a break from the tories, give Labour a chance’

Of which I was one of, and now what…

They are all corrupt, they are all out for the take.

Why bother voting? You’re choosing which tax dodging, expense claiming asshole to see mess up the country even more. Playing straight into Reforms hands. And where are the lib dems. It’s pointless. Voting is for knobs

  17. “Labour on the brink” – yeah, OK. Of a reshuffle.
