  1. Oleksandr Hordiienko, the head of the Kherson Oblast Farmers’ Association and member of Kherson Oblast Council, has been killed in a Russian drone strike. He was known for defending his fields and equipment from Russian drones with his own shotgun.

  2. Dammit, this truly is the darkest timeline.

    Not even the farmer with a shotgun lasts long enough for Raditz to land on Earth.

  3. *”russia felt threatened by the farmer expansion on russian historic lands where ethnically russian potatoes were being oppressed and cried for help from russia and also the farmer was a nazi that sabotaged russian attempts for peace”*

    -Dmitry Peskov

  4. And Poland farmers will be like – drop all your grain on the ground, we will not pass Ukrainian products… brave boys

  5. I will never forgive Russian scum for doing this to Ukraine since 2014.

    Constitutive elements of direction participation in hostilities: In order to qualify as direct participation in hostilities, a specific act must meet the **following cumulative criteria:**

    1. the act must be likely to adversely affect the military operations or military capacity of a party to an armed conflict or, alternatively, to inflict death, injury, or destruction on persons or objects protected against direct attack (threshold of harm);
    2. there must be a direct causal link between the act and the harm likely to result either from that act, or from a coordinated military operation of which that act constitutes an integral part (direct causation); and
    3. the act must be specifically designed to directly cause the required threshold of harm in support of a party to the conflict and to the detriment of another (belligerent nexus).

    Again, not a legit target.

    Edit to add: The drone dropped a grenade on him while he was sitting in a vehicle for farming.

  7. “He was known for defending his fields and equipment from Russian drones with his own shotgun.”

    What he was defending? Field? Equipment?
