With the increase of speculation about if Russia will declare general mobilization or even a war on Moldova on May 9, I’m not that surprised about this date.
They should go for May 9th, as it’s ‘Victory Day’ in Russia, and Putin is making a thing of it. He’s now got to explain why what he didn’t want to happen has happened. Everyone wants to join NATO all of a sudden.
I’m not sure why Putin is fixated on ‘Victory Day’ as Russia didn’t beat the Nazis, it became them. They might as well have just surrendered in 1941.
I look forward to May 12th.
Plot twist, they’ll be a Nato member already by that date and will only state it publicly afterwards so that Russia can’t do shit
