  8. Really seems like Trump wants war. He’s said as much several times that he could cancel elections in war and renaming the department of defense to the department of war. he said in a statemen that this boat was working for maduro.

    Out of curiosity, what was the boat’s intended destination? Any sea route to the U.S. runs 2,000+ miles, and it doesn’t seem like the boat could carry the fuel needed.

  16. Aside from the obviously illegal nature of this strike, it also seems like a complete waste of taxpayer funds to use weapons of war against a ship that was SUSPECTED of carrying drugs.

    It seems like they really could have just had a good old fashioned intervention or sent Don Jr. to rehab instead. I guess this sends a stronger message.

    Guys, guys, that’s a lie. There was no suspicion of drugs. That’s why they didn’t follow standard protocol for drugs. They wanted to kill innocent people. So they did.

    That’s the story. 

    Asking where the boat was going or why they didn’t arrest the people is playing into the lie. Maybe you think you’re doing some cute rhetorical trick by asking people to make sense of it, but all you’re really doing is giving credence to the lie. You’re tacitly endorsing the narrative. Because lots of true things don’t make sense, lots of true things don’t add up, lots of real events violate standard procedures. Acting as if you don’t understand the details doesn’t effectively portray the core reality here that it’s not the details that don’t make sense, it’s the whole thing. It’s a lie. It should not be “made sense of” it should be REJECTED, LOUDLY.

    Asking them to explain the parts that don’t make sense is asking them to provide a lie that is harder to see through. You can’t possibly actually want that, can you?
