  1. You couldn’t make this shit up if you tried.

    * ‘Leave the EU to increase our food standards’ whilst looking at getting chlorine chicked and hormone beef imported for our consumption.
    * ‘Create checkpoints at crossings to enable high standards’, scrape that, too expensive and will turn away the low grade shit we now want to import.
    * £350 million a week for the NHS. Still funking waiting on that one! (In for good measure).

Has there actually been a single benefit that Joe public has felt from this or have we all been dragged over the coals for nothing?

  2. The problem is, the Labour Party is too scared of its own Brexit supporting voters to call out the Tories on this. An open goal they refuse to exploit.

  3. >Brexiters have been left furious at the government’s newly announced delay on Brexit checks on EU food imports at the border, insisting the self-harm it would cause is what they voted for.
    >
    >Jacob Rees-Mogg announced a delay in the checks to 2023, claiming implementing them now would be “an act of self harm.”
    >
    >Brexiter Simon Williams told us, “I voted for all of this, exactly as it has played out – this is precisely how I envisaged it going and I won’t hear any different. I wanted the self harm.
    >
    >“Just because the minister for Brexit opportunities thinks our best Brexit opportunity is not implementing our Brexit deal doesn’t mean he’s right.
    >
    >“Jacob Rees-Mogg has always been a secret Remainer. It’s the only explanation for his decision not to implement the Brexit we all voted for.
    >
    >“And don’t pretend we didn’t know what we were voting for, the Remain side consistently said it was act of self harm, so we knew, we just didn’t care!
    >
    >“I want an unprecedented act of self-harm, give it to me. Now!”
    >
    >Rees-Mogg himself spoke to reporters telling them, “Brexit is still a wonderful idea that will deliver numerous benefits to our nation, it’s just that right now, the biggest Brexit benefit is in not actually doing Brexit.

  4. The problem lies with MPs looking to defend their jobs. They know Brexit is crass. They just don’t want to be seen as the one that points this out. This is not just a Tory issue, this is also a problem with Labour. LD and SNP both state openly that Brexit is stupid and needs reversing.

This issue is not helped at all with the Tories hiding everything that shows just how bad Brexit is. There is a desperate need for clarity on the damage caused by Brexit. The British media do not work for the public benefit. They only work for the benefit of the owners and the owners financial interests. I suppose perversely that can also be said for the BBC, as the Tories have this impression they own all public assets and treat accordingly.

All of this just shows how pathetic our so called democracy really is.

  5. Come on guys! Brexit makes my weekly food shopping much easier because there’s very little choice now and that’s if the product is in stock! 😆
