Well done! A neighbour has some lovely speckled droimeann cattle. They’re hardy but seem very docile.
This is a lot more interesting than it has any right to be. Nice job!
Looks professional, what was the project for?
I’m a big fan of the Droimeann. Nice work! Sad to see so many of the native breeds are so small in number.
Good work
That’s class. I hope you got an A+.
Username checks out. Great job!
Awesome work! 👏🏻
Very interesting, We were cattle people centuries ago if “The Cattle raid of Cooley” is anything to go by.
Very interesting to read! I know very little about our native breeds except to say I had a burger with dexter mince one time and it was a damn fine burger! So now.
This is the kind of content i wanted from this sub.
Ok
Top work!
Damn how come non-native breeds (just realising now most from the Benelux) have replaced them? Are they that much superior?
Big Bertha was a Droimeann and was the record holder for being oldest cow in the world. She was stuffed and can be viewed on her farm in County Kerry.
Great project, and congratulations on the grade. The Cork summer show is happening in June. It might be a lovely day out, and you could see the livestock judging.
