I often work in the deserts of Arizona for long stretches at a time. Over the last 10 years I’ve seen wildlife numbers plummet to near zero. Most of the Saguaros in huge sections of the desert are dead. Most of the trees are dead or dying. Huge sections of the surrounding juniper forests (millions of acres) are dead or dying. I could go on but suffice it to say that Arizona is going f to be as wasteland like the central Sahara in 10-20 years.
Selfish humans.
No attention span.
Priorities are “sports” “travel” ” where do we go out to eat.”
Hmm. Whatever could be done. Hmmmmmmm
Sadly whoever survives will adapt. But majority will die.
They’ll have air conditioning as long as there’s enough water for the generators at Hoover dam to operate. And that my not be for much longer.
