Coming from the same café that regularly posts videos of dogs sitting all over their furniture. Could the tides be changing? So tired of being unable to eat or drink anywhere without owners and their uncontrollable dogs near my food

  1. Unfortunately the people with these types of dogs tend to be the same ilk to somehow (read:intelligence) be in denial that their dog is the type described.

    What good is posting a sign saying ‘dont fling shit’ towards chimps in the zoo?

  2. Have you considered going to a restaurant that is not dog friendly

  3. I don’t understand why anyone would want to bring their dog inside to a cafe, pub, restaurant etc. sitting outside is a different story.

  4. I went for beers with a mate once and he asked if he could bring his dog. I said yeah. It was a fucking nightmare. We don’t go for beers together anymore. 

    (FWIW, I absolutely love dogs, just not this one)

  5. Don’t think the tides are changing at all but some people are idiots and need to be reminded of this. I’m happy to have dogs in pubs and cafes up to a point but not all dogs can cope. I’ve a dog that’s as described in the post who doesn’t go inside.

  7. Have never seen a dog inside Offing Coffee once. I’ve brought my dog there once and kept him outside. The statement is pretty fair; the owners are within their rights to have it dog friendly, and they are within their rights to ask customers that they exercise some kind of discretion as to whether they should bring their own dogs in.

    What’s the fucking problem?
