  1. Unless you’re specially interested, that’s going to be a very hard question for most people in the world. I probably know 3-5 of the second largest city of any country in the world.

  2. Im interested how they transliterated these places

Güllü just reminds me of Gulen

  3. What makes the question more difficult for an average Turkish participant is that all of the alternatives, including Bergen, are famous Turkish folk song artistsin Turkey; so, the question makes more sense in Turkish context.

  4. I don’t know the second biggest city in Turkiye, so I can’t judge

  5. If you’re not into geography and know norway have weird letters in the alphabet, this seems like an OK question. It’s funny when you know tho

  6. Bergen is the only Norwegian word on the list. The Umlaut is barely used in Norwegian, and the “iye” and “ray” endings are not Norwegian.

  7. The qustion is wrong! There is no second biggest city in Norway, as there are no cities there. Source: Swedish.

  8. During a quiz I was one asked “in which country do you find the the port city of Bergen?”. Some Aussies called me cheater when I was the only one to get it right 🤷

  9. What an easy question, without multiple choice it would be hard.

As a Dutch person, I haven’t any idea which one is bigger, Stavanger, Trondheim or Bergen. And I know there is a ‘big’ city in the south which name I can’t write from memory.
