I had forgotten this, so you don't get a fright!
Also, if you have a second phone or you know someone who has one (Domestic violence victims, etc, or if you just don't want to have them, this is how you opt out.

Thanks for the notice!
Just to flag about people hiding second phones for safety. Last time some people that had opted out still received alerts. So ve safe.
It’s the world saying happy birthday to me.
I turned it off on my only phone. After tomorrow, will I regret this?
I’m going for a public event -food and craft event there’s gonna be 30-45 siren alerts at the same time ! 🫤🙉
ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz
It’s funny how big a deal this is in the UK. Having lived abroad for the last 7 years, it’s super normal in most places.
I was in Germany last year on holiday when they had a test of their system, and I was in the toilets of a museum. I had a shock when my phone started sounding an alarm, as I thought I’d pulled something by accident. Fortunately the alert was in English so I realised when I checked my phone!
Got a new phone and forgot to turn this off. Thanks for the reminder
Last time we had this, my phone didn’t get the alert. Something to do with certain networks…
If you have a secret phone shut it off
Cool, I missed the last one.
Currently out of the country will be interesting to see if my phone goes off
Testing it for WW3 folks
