After a turbulent few weeks, where do Johnson – and Starmer – really stand with the voters?

  1. Highlights that’re worth bearing in mind from this 8,000 sample poll;

    Labour ahead on the _economy_ by 8 points, ahead on taxation and government spending by 15 points, as well as being ahead on immigration and crime.

  2. Beware of the polls. (Or at least reading too much into them).

    Wait a few days for locals, and we will find out.

    This has the potential to be a surprise election.

  3. Very surprised to see Tory groupies put the cost of living and the NHS/social care above immigration, national defence and the economy.
