UniLu Choir is looking for UniLu students, and greater Luxembourg tenors and basses for our next season. This semester's program responds to current world events under the theme "Hopes and Dreams." Come join a diverse and skilled choir as we explore both contemporary and historic repertoire !

Rehearsals: Tuesdays 19:00-21:30, UniLu Campus LIMPERTSBERG starting 23 September, 2025

Rehearsals are run in English – but with over 20 countries represented in the choir, many languages are spoken 🙂

Audition Process: Normally singers are asked to attend a rehearsal as a trial. If they would like to continue, they may set up an audition with the director, which consists of a 1 minute excerpt of a prepared selection, a range test, and pitch matching. No sight reading skills required; audio learning aids available for members.

It weaves together music by living composers and historic voices.
In the first half, we'll feature a special work by LA based Filipino composer Saunder Choi. The second half highlights historic women composers, culminating in Lili Boulanger's Vieille Prière Bouddhique.
The program also takes inspiration from the Solstice as a symbol of the sun's return-welcoming light in times of darkness.
At ~ 44 minutes, this season's repertoire offers a balance of approachable and challenging works, including a set for chamber choir (songs by Fanny Hensel).
The shorter length also leaves space for a festive encore of Christmas carols.

    Where can I get the upcoming events, though? I would love to hear the choir. Nothing I love more than a good choir mh mh mhhh
