  1. > Reynolds credited Bullock — and how the star handles her career and public persona — with inspiring him to overcome a difficult period in his own life around 2014.

    > “At this point, I’m a little bit… I’m in actor jail,” Reynolds admits, telling the crowd he was “not getting a lot of work” due to having “some highly publicized bombs” in the vein of the aforementioned 2011 superhero movie Green Lantern, which was critically panned and grossed $220 million globally on a reported $200 million budget.

    > “If I’m going to fail, I’d rather be the architect of my own demise, and if I’m going to succeed, I want to be the architect of that win,” the 48-year-old explained. “I started to think about it a little bit differently and take authorship in that situation. That changed my entire life. I wouldn’t have been able to do that had I not worked with people like Sandra, worked with incredible actors like [Definitely, Maybe costar] Rachel Weisz.”

  2. He did 7 films between The Green Lantern and Deadpool. Helluva definition of “actor jail”.

  3. The Green Lantern movie was nowhere near as bad as his constant mockery has grown it to be perceived over the 14 years since.

As a Green Lantern comics fan, Ryan Reynolds years of making the same lame jokes over and over have been absolutely devastating to the franchise.

I enjoyed it enough when it came out, not stellar but nowhere near as bad as this arsehole has constantly made it out to be.

  4. And he still plays the same character in every role. Himself

  5. is there a reason for five ryan reynolds articles a day? Whats happening here

  6. I remember when Ryan Reynolds wasn’t a mega star and was kind of a Whimsical goofy funny guy without all that plastic surgery

    Alas

  7. Ok so whichever hot lady costar he’s working with now needs to tell him to lay low for like five years…

  8. Martha Stewart ripping him a new one is his best moment

  9. Another reason not to like Sandra bollocks. Reynolds is insufferable along with his wife

  10. Just more context for the Justin Baldoni Blake Lively suit:

Blake lively claims Ryan was the true editing author of a scene, and this was during the strike. That’s why this is coming up.

  11. It’s over Ryan, your cheeky smug grill needs to fade into the back ground. Lots of good you can still do without being in the news every day. Ride off into the sunset with a bottle of Gin and a cell phone.

  12. Ryan Reynolds sucks ass.  I’m so sick of hearing about this annoying bitch.

  13. He never stops talking about Green Lantern. Let it go. You’re a billionaire

  14. Ryan Reynolds is a bad actor and his Tim Hortons campaign was bad and he should feel bad. But he won’t because he’s a malignant c*nt.

  15. He is not that funny as he think he is. I dont even think that deadpool is that funny. It feels everythink so forced. Try hard.

  16. Maybe it’s because I didn’t read the comics as a kid, but I think I’m the only person alive who liked that movie.

  17. This guy doesn’t have a story and is boring. Enough!

  18. Ryan Reynolds PR team working overtime ever since that rumor of him fighting with RDJ on the Doomsday set was floated around

  19. One of the most annoying talentless boring ass “i play myself in every movie” mf in hollywood jesuschrist
