  1. >“When we are seeing falling numbers of parents getting their children vaccinated, and a resurgence of disease we had previously eradicated, it is shockingly irresponsible for Nigel Farage to give a platform to these poisonous lies,” said Streeting.

Say what you like about Wes Streeting, and I certainly do, but he’s spot on here. At a time when we’re seeing potentially fatal childhood diseases regaining a foothold thanks to conspiracy bollocks, it’s disgusting to see Nigel Farage and his Reform Party endangering British children by publicising this nonsense.

Why are Reform even giving this American conspiracy rubbish a high-profile position at their conference? Do they think that British people want to waste our time on this? It seems completely out of touch with the concerns of regular people.

    P.S.

    >A spokesperson for Cancer Research UK said: “There is no good evidence of a link between the Covid-19 vaccine and cancer risk. The vaccine is a safe and effective way to protect against the infection and prevent serious symptoms.”

  2. Surely, if I supported Reform before I would be very reluctant to continue now. We are able to see the carnage of these kinds of morons in America as we speak. The fascist/conspiracy crossover must be far too obvious? Fair play if you’re concerned about immigration and want politicians to address it; it’s an important part of politics in the modern world; but Reform are so heavily and obviously inspired by Trump and Project2025 – we can literally see what is happening and I can’t imagine any Brit wants it for their country.

  3. Fucking moron.

Right at home at Reform UK conference.

  4. Can we just not, please? Can’t we keep this shit on the other side of the Atlantic?

  5. The same thing that’s happening to the US is clearly being implemented here. Surely at some point the government will start asking questions of the news and social media corporations, any minute now…

  6. Reform voters will be repeating this bollocks and saying “he’s a dr you know” while ignoring every every other doctor on the planet.

  7. The amount of reform/farage posts on this sub today has been hilarious. Something clearly has you rattled.

  8. Nice to get a change from Andrew Wakefield. I only clicked to confirm it was him, so was surprised to find another nutter.

  9. I just wonder if the UK is over in a lot of respects. Feels it. Every TV show from ‘This Morning’ to News TV Shows are propaganda wings for Reform and completely all in on Farage.

I’ve never seen a politician get away lying like this in the UK.

There’s a reason now he’s ‘making it’ so to speak. He was rightly before recent times held to account.

Now it’s 24/7 media attempt to get him as Prime Minister. Right down to having him on ‘I’m A Celeb’ which he didn’t even win!

  10. There are people who have had issues with it, but this is just grossly unprofessional to make a diagnostic link to such a prominent figurehead as the King.

People are free to surmise rightly or wrongly, but he as a doctor should know better.

  11. Can we keep the stupid in America, please and thanks.

  12. >The speech was one of a number of incidents that threatened to generate negative headlines over the course of a two-day conference where Reform tried hard to project an image of professionalism.

Three guardian doesn’t understand. This is exactly the message Farage wants.

    Disruption.

    Distrust.

    Chaos even.

  13. I don’t get where the pharmaceutical industry is in this whole discussion. It’s not like they’re powerless victims/minorities like the rest of the Right’s usual favourite punching bags, these are multi-billion dollar international corporations. Isn’t shit like this threatening to sink their entire industry?

And why do the Right spend their time making up conspiracies about these particular corporations while ignoring/justifying the REAL stuff that others do? There’s no way anti-vaxx quacks make up a larger source of income for grifters and charlatans to push propaganda for than massive pharma companies right?

This one confuses the hell out of me ngl.

  14. Reform are a bunch of harmful whackos, but I’ve known of too many cases of people having issues with the Covid vaccines to just write them off as nonsense.

I myself, after having my first, had a tightness on the left side of my neck (on the same side as the arm the jab was administered into), a heaviness in my chest and all the colour draining out of my face.
Thankfully, those symptoms went away, but it was the kind of reaction I haven’t had from any other vaccine, ever (probably because they were traditional vaccines, like the MMR for instance).

I’m not saying Covid is “just the flu”, or that masks, testing and lockdowns weren’t necessary (at least at first)… I’m saying that maybe the Covid vaccines shouldn’t have been pushed quite so hard on *everybody*, but hey ho… maybe if we didn’t have them at all, things would have been much worse?

Now, on the other hand, kids not getting vaccinated against measles or whooping cough… that *is* irresponsible, reckless, and against all short- and long-term studies proving their safety and efficacy, not to mention that those diseases pose far more of a threat to kids than Covid ever did.

  15. Such lazy journalism, the very first word should be spelt “moron”

  16. Perhaps, if you choose to endanger others with your choice to be unvaccinated, you shouldn’t be getting the subsequent treatment off the NHS.

    Isn’t that their whole argument?

They want the “right” to be a vector and increase infections in others. So, they opt out of the subsequent health coverage, and their contributions cover the costs of additional public health care.

Unless of course, there are clear health reasons to opt out.

  17. The thing is he was quoting an Oncologist who noticed a sharp rise of recurrent skin cancers in his patients who had previously been in remission for some time after the third dose. And it **is** very unusual for someone of Kate’s age to be diagnosed with cancer especially given that she lives what would otherwise be the perfect healthy life with lots of exercise, sunlight and the highest quality food. I personally have noticed an alarming number of cancers in my friends families, colleagues relatives at work and people in the local neighbourhood.

Although really the biggest side effect I think is still the heart issues.

  18. This is the party leading the polls and might control the NHS in 4 years 😳

    I’m scared

  19. Pretty ironic that some of the most cutting edge cancer treatments are personalised mRNA vaccines (since you know cancer cells are personalised) which would be the absolute top of the list of scary things why the COVID vaccine is dangerous to these people.

  20. If avian flu really kicks off (or some other pandemic) while these people are on the rise here and in the US, we’re REALLY fucked this time. Even if it happens in the next couple of decades a lot of damage is probably being done right now.

  21. The left and the right always stealing stupid culture wars from the USA that bear no relevance to the UK. A new moronic hobby horse for the right

  22. Big mistake for reform to push this American antivax bs.. I’m surprised its given any credence here.

  23. The American CDC cited the UK as an example to follow: we have *already* restricted covid vaccines much more dramatically than the Trump admin had dared to until now.

Reform want to push that much further. It feels like they’re openly declaring war on the UK population, except they expect us to vote for our own destruction.

  24. Slapped my forehead so hard i nearly gave myself a concussion.

  25. This is incredible, Reform are adopting all American policies even to having their own vaccine denier

  26. Ah, Aseem Malhotra. Not really a surprise. He’s another “controversial” doctor who is side eyed an awful lot but the profession for his terrible terrible takes on medicine. I suspect he picks and chooses what research he deems credible possibly to make it easier to sell his latest book or product.

  27. The only conference speech on Health at this reform rally. If that doesnt show people the way they would go if they ever got in. Madness that you would trust them with anything important
