This is a huge waste of money and it’s all about stroking Trump’s ego. America is not stronger because of the ‘Department of War,’ it seems so weak that it stooped to changing the department’s name in an effort to look stronger.
The United States uses the word “archeology” on official documents instead of the correct spelling “archaeology” because it was determined dropping the second a would save money in the long term of printing and typing.

What Trump considers “not a lot” and what we consider “not a lot” are two drastically different things.
Just further illustrates just how out of touch he is.
Every single bit of letterhead, building signage, road signs, base information books, fighting manuals, technical manuals, operations manuals, plaques, ceremonial goods, branded gifts, stationary and every other thing with DoD branding will have to be replaced. All so Dumpy Trump can feel like a tough guy at the expense of service personnel. He is such a loudmouth about things I guarantee he is a coward in his heart and has had never had an actual physical conflict with a man. He has beaten his wife though. What a tough guy.
Of course he says that. It’s not a lot for him. Trump sees the government as a piggy back and the taxpayer forever donors. In a year he’ll announce he’s building a private McDonald’s on the properly, and America is paying for it.
Another slap in the face of the working class, while taking away protections from those who need it. Including his core base.

Apparently they are thinking of renaming the Department of Health and Human Services the Department of Conspiracy Theories, while the new name for the Department of Veterans Affairs is the Department of Veterans’ Extra-Marital Relationships.
Republicans love vapid, infantile bullshit. This nonsense is part of why Trump won the popular vote in the United States. No Epstein Files, but a billion for a meaningless rebrand. Because too few Americans were smart and moral enough to vote for someone competent.

It will cost well over a billion – the amount will be very difficult to adequately judge because it will be staff doing this rather than other activities.
The physical changes: paperwork, signs, manuals, etc have to be designed, allocated, shipped, checked, double checked, found to be flawed and start process again,
This is not a small amount of money.

Right every letter head, every seal, every office door, the place names in conference rooms, building facades, even online or electronic documents would be need teams of people to ensure the changes are made. This is an insane decision which legitimately does nothing outside of the states other than say “ we are war mongers” while spending an obscene amount of money. To be clear, this does absolutely zero to increase combat effectiveness or readiness. Wasting more tax payers dollars while already taking so much away from average Americans.

That’s not correct. It’s going to cost $2 Billion. $1 Billion to change it to Department of Ware, then another Billion to change it back once Trump is out of office. The next president should garnish Trump’s income or sell off his property to pay it off.
Don’t forget the 1 billion to upgrade that shitty 747 he was given.
And then we’ll have to pay to undo it once he’s thrown out of power. I say we do that by seizing all of his assets.
