Ah yes, the party of the working class(!) When will people realise the populist right are there to cut taxes on the rich, deregulate, weaken workers rights and unions, privatise state assets, etc.?
If you have 2millionkr its 2300kr.its nothing. Its only the billionaires who cant afford to pay it.Poor billionaires who have pay tax exacly like everybody else. They can fuck off to switzerland if they dont want to pay
I don’t understand why it have this much tax in this country. You are supposed to have the infinit petro money glitch
Please can we have cheaper vegetables
I think the wealth tax became an issue is because whilst 8% of Norwegians are millionaires, only 1% of the population pays this tax. Now you might think well at least some of the 8% pay it but also people who are not in the millionaire club who do pay it. I feel this tax is misunderstood as an attempt to readjust the wealth of remote billionaires (it doesn’t) instead it just grinds against people trying to improve their situation.
This isn’t the hill for me to die on really and don’t let this distract you from the fact that Norway has zero inheritance tax, meaning that people will just get richer and richer if their parents are rich. I do believe people who work hard, take risks and invent things shouldn’t be punished for doing so, but I don’t believe their children should benefit from it without tax, just because they were luckily born into that family.
