A 21-year-old man was arrested in a shooting that killed a man and injured a woman early Saturday morning in an East Hollywood McDonald’s parking lot.
Officers responded at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday to the shooting in the area of Romaine Street and Western Avenue. Both shooting victims, 36-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, were hospitalized.
The man died at the hospital.
The woman suffered a gunshot wound to her leg. Details about here condition were not immediately available.
The suspect was identified as Humberto Delgado, 21, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. He was arrested at 4 a.m. Saturday and booked into jail.
Bond was set at $100,000, according to jail records, which did not indicate an initial court date.
Authorities said the shooting appeared to stem from an argument. Details about what led to his arrest and the parking lot confrontation were not immediately available.
