So, anyone got this?

  1. Yes, but sirens completely failed. Didn’t hear anything around Grevenmacher so far.

Also never heard any siren in years living around Limpertsberg so… yikes

Btw, for me the message was just a simple SMS, not an actual emergency message so I guess this is also a fail? I saw the message 40 minutes later because I remembered it should have arrived, otherwise I wouldn’t know about it probably until way after 17:00 when my phone disables the focus mode.

  2. No message yet. Tango.

But also no emergency notification setting in my phone that I can find.

    * just got it (14:36). Maybe they did all the 621 numbers first

  3. They have a lot of problem with it at the moment. Lots of people are reporting that they didnt get the text. Interesting how our small country cant make this work

  4. every 1st monday of the month they do these tests and you can hear the sirens but I didn’t know we’d be getting these messages

  5. In my country a similar system is implemented. We receive SMS also when a possible strong storm is about to start. Also, beyond SMS the message it’s spoken loudly so it’s quite impossible to ignore.

  6. I got one from the post at 12:08 and 2 from Tango (the 2 tango on one single Sim) at 12:40 and 13:47. Noticed all in the evening. None of my office collegues noticed any alert despite I was sitting with them at lunch. Noticed no siren. Luckily there was no emergency. This is a complete fail. Is it so complex to enable cell broadcasts – a technology demonstrated according to Wikipedia about a quarter of a century ago?
