  1. I had sepsis. He likely has no idea what’s going on; wishing him all the health and good vibes.

  2. Any case of sepsis is a serious case of sepsis. Hope he survives it.

  3. I had septic arthritis. I didn’t ignore my symptoms and called my doctor right away, he met me at the emergency room and save my life as well as my leg.

  4. Why does the production have to close? Are there understudies? Wishing a quick recovery for Billy. Sepsis is terrifying.

  5. Sepsis was so very nearly the end of me. Absolutely horrendous. I hope he’s well soon.

  6. Idk my FIL just had sepsis from a kidney stone. It was a couple months of recovery and he’s still not 100%

  7. And we all pretended the pandemic wasn’t ongoing.

  8. Sepsis took my dad’s life at 54. It is no joke.

  9. Yikes, my mom had sepsis a few months back and she out for a good while, hoping he recovers quickly

  10. Yikes sepsis is deadly. My poor dad experienced it numerous times and managed to survive. (He still died but that was due to the nurse administering the wrong medication triggering his heart event.)

  11. I feel so bad for him. During the strikes he either lost his house or nearly lost it, now this? He’s had a string of bad luck. I liked him in AHS Apocalypse as one of the few decent warlocks. Hope he recovers.

  12. Anyone know how he got sepsis? I hope he recovers and recovers quickly. Sepsis is so scary.

  13. I was a ghoulish little noseypants as a kid and back then, the newspaper would publish the names and causes of death for local citizens. I’d peruse the list of the recently dead and I can still remember the prevalence of sepsis as a cause for so many people of all ages.

It’s a tricky and scary condition and I’m glad Billy Porter is in medical expert hands. I hope the improved treatments updated by groups like [Surviving Sepsis Campaign](https://journals.lww.com/ccmjournal/Fulltext/2021/11000/Surviving_Sepsis_Campaign__International.21.aspx) will help get Billy Porter back on his feet and feeling well again soon.
