Has the penny finally dropped for the government on the cost of living crisis? If they don’t act quickly, the Tories will face the same fate as Labour in 2010 and lose their credibility on the economy

It would be such a grave tragedy if Johnson met the fate of Labour in 2010 election (not really that grave a tragedy).
Remember how the tories used the global economic crisis which crippled economies across the globe financially as a stick to beat Labour with for the best 12 years?
How the turn-tables.
lmao can you imagine if Boris Johnson was PM in during the late 00s financial crisis?
The guy would be stripping the copper from the walls, selling off all of Number 10s possessions on ebay, changing his name and booking a one-way ticket to Australia.
Hahah “lose” their credibility – I knew this was gonna be Grice or Rentoul.
What does it matter? They aren’t going to allow themselves to be voted out.
Someone I know on Facebook asked the simple question to anyone voting Conservative in the local elections, why they are voting Conservative.
Absolutely every answer, and that’s not an exaggeration, mentioned the Labour Party.
The Conservatives are fine, because they’ve successfully made their voter base think that no matter how bad they do, Labour will be worse.
Lose their credibility? Fairly sure that was lost before Brexit but definitely by Brexit.
“lose their credibility on the economy”

Long gone, they only care about filling their own pockets.
Hold up…
You’re saying this “government” still has credibility?
What credibility?
First we had the cokehead who took us into unnecessary austerity, then Hammond who was sidestepped at every turn, now we have little rishi and his tax evading spouse.
