  1. Actual insanity: They should have thrown away the keys with him

  2. They can arrest 900 people for holding up a sign in London, but a convicted terrorist who seems to still support terrorism can be risk assessed because he is a psychiatric patient is nonsense.

This is what happens when politicians get a hard on for surveilling and controlling the whole population rather than concentrating on those who would actually do harm.

  3. There is something very wrong about the UK’s judges.

They do not represent the UK people’s wishes.

  4. Not even 20 years…

Man should be locked up until he rots

  5. 52 innocents killed and 784 injured. Why TF is this thing being released?

  6. Of course there’s fury, it’s the Daily Heil.

  7. Wonder when it becomes the right time to discuss actual, non violent revolution in this country. Something about the ruling class is utterly rotten to the core.

  8. I won’t open a link to the (Hate) Mail but I suggest this isn’t as it seems.

  9. It’s time our so called judiciary was elected
    Every 5 years
This old boy network is doing more harm than good

  10. But he was never formally charged over anything to do with these bombings. So how he can be a “mastermind” of them is a strange way of describing it.

Should he be monitored for having documents related terrorism? Yes. But, as far as the law goes, he hasn’t been convicted of anything to do with these bombings.

  11. Wait, he masterminded the biggest terror attack we’ve had in this country, and he got less than 20 years for it?

  12. Read the article, not exactly what the title claims. Qasnt charged, deported to the UK from the US for other terror offenses, has been in a psychiatric hospital.

  13. He played the old mental illness card, and the idiots fell for it.

  14. imo judges who release people who reoffend should be charged as accessories to their crimes. This guy is going to cause harm and should never see the light of day again.

  15. With all that blood on his hands, how can he walk free.

  16. Yeah the headline is misleading.

The guy been diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia and whilst he confessed to being part of 7/7 he wasn’t convicted for playing anymore of it.

The Judge words to him where to the effect “stay on your meds because you don’t want to end up in a US prison again”

Reading comprehension failure again from the Cooked Ham Brigade…….

  17. Breaking: man in Christian country wishes a man well and hopes he’s going to live a better life as a productive member of society.

  18. He’ll tour the country being welcomed in mosques like a hero

  19. He is going to be so heavily monitored that he won’t be able to make himself a cup of tea without Special Branch knowing what he is up to. He’ll be nicked the moment he puts a foot wrong.

  20. Reading between the lines it sounds like he is a mentally ill person who was caught up in the periphery of the 7/7 bombings but wasn’t actually a participant in any way, right?

  21. Stupid people have been unfairly given a bad rap. It is the stupidity of intelligent people that we need to worry about.

  22. Its always with hindsight we lose our minds at the law that people are sentenced by. MP’s could review sentencing guidelines for all manner of crimes (knife or noncery for instance). Even then, if we were to lock more people up for longer we have no where for them to go. System is in a bad way.

  23. “7/7 bombings mastermind”

Yet curiously, insufficient evidence was found to charge him with any offence in relation to the 7/7 bombings.

Perhaps the Daily Mail headline writers are making things up again?
