  1. Who would have thought oh no, after spending money to advertise their closure. Was a good stunt for sure

  2. Can’t help but feel that several restaurants over the years have “closed” only to “reopen” with a new name and… everything else basically the same…

  3. do you know if it is a new owner maybe?
the old.one was shady af. didn’t visit since covid and the owner went on his anti-vaxx rant and ridiculed clients wearing masks.

  4. Yes it opened again with 2 new owners. It got a different name but the whole concept stays the same. The new employees trained with the old staff to ensure that the food stays the same. I can only recommend to check it out 🙂

  5. based on RCS it is a new owners for BB but Lou’s dinner (owned by someone born in US) didn’t declare bankruptcy yet

  6. When I was there on the last day, they said the current owners are going into retirement, and it’s going to be taken over by new people.

  7. unfriendly, no great quality and didn’t even take card to pay….

  8. We were there yesterday. The menu looks similar, the place was mildly packed.

Sunday Chicken nuggets are still amazing as well as the jalapeno sauce.

The burgers seem to have different buns (bigger) and the overall composition of the dish is now 2/3 buns and 1/3 beef/cheese/bacon what have you. Used to be 50/50 before. Taste-wise, the patty is less juicy and not as thick tending to be more on a well-done side. Both burgers we had seemed to be salted in excess.
Didn’t try fries, so can not report on that.

Lou’s used to be our go-to after-hike place. Will try BB’s once again to check for consistency but so far it does not seem to match the expectations.

On the other hand they have just opened so there will be bumps along the way in any case.

  9. They should definitely add some tap beer at fair prices.

  10. Lou’s had a much longer menu until mid-August (loved the Texas burger with onion rings and bacon 🥓)
