Mohamed Kamara stands by his single bed behind a small chest of drawers on which he has bags of sweets, fruit and a bottle of soft drink.
He lives in a modest terraced house a mile from the town centre in Nuneaton along with seven other young African men.

The actual story
Well done Labour.
When you no-one else thought you could get more unpopular and annoy voters, you found a way…!

>**Clearsprings boss Graham King has amassed a £1.015billion fortune during the migrant crisis**
That’s the real story.

This has been happening for at least the last 2 years, my partner is a carpet cleaner and does a lot of work for councils, the councils have been buying and renting private homes as they have no social housing and have been housing the immigrants in them, they also get a large percentage of every new build development, its only just getting in the media but unfortunately its not new
Isn’t this a problem created by the conservative government over a 12-14 year period and then people are upset when a newish government can’t fix the problems of the last government. This is all down to the Conservative Party and their failure in charge. It wouldn’t matter what political party is in government now or in the future, it’s all fucked now!
England has fallen.
you had better get use to it as they are coming more and more often and no way to stop them now..the goverment will start putting more in the outlying places as they run out of houses to buy in the cities!!
“As the government flounders”, indeed. Applications are being processed faster. 48% are rejected. More appropriate temporary accommodation is being planned. The government is working on realistic solutions but they take time. Angry Daily Mail readers shouting at hotels really helps no one.
What the fxck is this govt doing
Could you imagine this story being published in America? People wouldn’t believe you.
Unfortunately for us, it’s our reality and will continue to get worse.
It doesn’t flounder it does exactly as it wants
If you think the migrant crisis can be solved in 1 year you are a mug and that kind of naivety is exactly what Nigel is banking on.
Remember when they told you brexit would be easy, that they’d be negotiating in Berlin the next day, that germany would never let us leave, that they need us more than we need them.
Its all oversimplified nonsense to dupe the uninformed. Scrapping the HRA and the ECHR is not an answer to the refugee crisis it is a way a future Farage government to steamroll over your rights. Don’t be a fool. Amendments are needed but not wholesale removal. Don’t be scared into giving up your rights.
Careful Amendments and restructuring, returns agreements with France and other countries are the answer but that takes time and careful negotiation.
This is more problematic than the actual money spent. It’s not only taking up housing stock, the question of placing completely unvetted foreign males up and down the country is the more alarming element.
The system of being given a free lifestyle and home should be enough to stop anymore arriving, as for all the rest that are already here its too far gone and no government will be able to fix it, the government infrastructures are beyond repair and its brutally unfair on everyone paying taxes for it and struggling, you can wash it however you want but the county and system is broken and everyone is fed up with it
I don’t get it. Do they get to live their whole lives here for free?
Disgusting
as if house prices needed more of a reason to stay up.
move them to old army barracks and setup refugee camps away from urban areas. only cover bare necessities.
im not against migration. but atm we already have far more unemployed people than jobs available.
Why was the Bibby Stockholm barge decommissioned? That housed quite a few from what I remember
The actions taken in response to the boat people will be talked about decades from now
But leafy suburbs are filled with the most leakiest of hearts. Surely they are delighted?
And once again, no mention of the fact that Labour has reduced the number of migrants in temporary accommodation. The Daily Heil was fucking fine with that when the Tories were in power.
The fucking hypocrisy!
What’s I’ll do is leave to another country. Then get in a boat throw my passport overboard, claim I from ‘insert country here’ and I’ll get a house. Bang! Sorted!
Surely put them in porta cabins like the troops had on Ops. Comfy, warm. Could set these up on disused barracks.
Daily fail again.
Should’ve been axed in the 30s for supporting fascism
