  6. The ones that “heal” will probably go mostly back to the frontlines. But some will end up back in Russian society and a bunch of combat experienced men, tortured by their own state will surely not help keeping this country together.

  7. The fact that there are not even widespread local rebellions is absolutely unbelievable to me. What sort of society, other than maybe North Korea, is so dog-like that they lie down and just accept this sort of abuse?!

  9. Gosh, damn I gotta show my daughter this every time she throws away half of her chicken nuggets and food. She just doesn’t like it wasn’t made right to her liking that there are people starving to death in the world that would fight to the death for some chicken nuggets. This is terrible to see.

  10. oof, this is what russian love and compassion for their own looks like. You can either die instantly on the battlefield or you can get “rescued” and die slowly from malnourishment. And if by some miracle you make a full recovery? Back onto the battlefield with you to tempt fate once again! Fun times for everyone!

    The propaganda practically writes itself: “Do you want to fight and die for a country who doesnt give a shit about you? look at how they treat you if you get hurt in the line of duty!”

  24. Western military doctrine says that injuring an enemy soldier costs them more in resources caring for that soldier than killing them. That’s only true if the enemy cares for their soldiers.

  25. Russian military has been doing this shit longer than I’ve been alive. Idk why this is surprising to people
