Is it bad that every time I see Hounslow, the first thing that comes into my head is “Hounslow for the Hounslowsians” lmao
This would be even better if they could connect it to the district and piccadilly lines – the lines cross just south of South Acton station, and relocating the station just a few hundred metres would make it a pretty useful interchange
There’s the 2 stop dlr Thamesmead extension, or this entire line for not a crazy amount more.
If only they’d stump up the extra cash to push it on to Heathrow from the South. You can even share the tunnelling cost with a mainline service to Woking via Virginia Water.

So how many stations will Acton have now? 14? Yellow? The concept of disappointment as you get off at Acton Central, walk through the nice park and get confronted by the High Street? 9?
