  30. I know that broadly people don’t trust “mainstream” media anymore but organizations like WSJ don’t just run shit. When they first reported on the birthday letter, they had already verified it, it was only a matter of time before it was released in full. Yeah, sometimes orgs make mistakes too of course, but even then, there is still sourcing and corroboration.

    What people mix up is the op-eds and commentary world where people *do* just say shit. But the reporting world is still built on sourcing
