Which are the most common names for the new government? I’ve heard of ”Regjeringen Støre”, but are there any other common nicknames? (that are not derrogatory)

  2. No, it’s not usual to use nicknames for this, we mostly just use the PM’s name or the main party/coalition. Beyond perhaps numbering the administrations if the same PM comes back with a new setup/different coaition (i.e. Bondevik, Bondevik 2). 

    Unless you count things like calling the government “red-green” or whatever, in reference to the symbolic colours of the parties? 

  3. The term ‘Tutti Frutti cooperation’ has been thrown around the past few days. It’s a fitting name for this coalition.

  6. As it’s now a one party government, it’s just Støre-regjeringen or Arbeiderpartiregjeringen.

    But the new left wing majority (not the government itself) has been referred to as tutti frutti, as there’s many different parties forming the majority.

  8. Regjeringen har ikke gått av, så vi fortsetter med samme regjering som før valget.
    Det er ikke før regjeringen ser at de får flertallet mot seg i en sak, altså at de kommer et mistillitsvotum at regjeringen går av. Eller de velger selv å gå av på bakgrunn av valgresultat.

    Med det valgresultatet vi har nå, så blir det nok fortsatt en mindretallsregjering med mindre SV og R forlanger å bli med i regjeringen.

  12. Media have coined it as the «tutti frutti» government, due to the involvement of a lot of different parties, ap being a left side party brings rødt, sv, mdg and senterpartiet to stortinget, giving a very colorful coalition

  15. Well, the results are no surprise to me, given how confrontation-avoidant an ordinary Olav/Kari Nordmann is.

  17. It’s already jokingly been called Tutti Frutti-regjeringen, hasn’t it? No, but they say they’ll be alone in the actual regjeringen, so Støre 2-regjeringen or something along those lines.

  19. Tuttifrutti. Because it will involve 5 parties who all hate each other. What a mess.
