1. A prince fathering a secret son with a singer? We are back to 16th century type gossip with this and I love it.

2. Prince Laurent is a bit of an odd duck. He’s such a strange character.

3. So will the child also be a prince too like Delphine? Honestly its a miracle that Phillipe and Astrid turned out normal considering his father is Albert and Laurent is their brother. 

4. If the pregnancy was in 2000, Laurent was single. He didn’t marry Claire Coombs until 2003.

   I wonder why they didn’t get married. Perhaps Laurent didn’t want to, perhaps Wendy Van Wanten didn’t want to, or perhaps they weren’t allowed to.

7. I saw another article that states that Clement is participating in a documentary to air on this evening on flemmish news channel VTM……..

8. It was his father, King Albert, who was not amused with their relationship and who asked him to break-up with her. Rumor has it now that it was also Albert who did not want Laurent to recognize Clement as his child.

   What we do know is that Laurent and Wendy had a very turbulent relationship (as Wendy’s first son, Dylan, wrote about in his book).
