According to the New York Times, thousands of American volunteers have served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the start of the full-scale war. Thousands! Have you ever heard about it on CNN or Fox News?

Here's what's really outrageous: while their government is being cautious and counting every dollar of aid, ordinary Americans are going to die for our freedom. Official Washington prefers to stay away, leaving the support of wounded soldiers and the repatriation of the dead to organizations like Protect a Volunteer, R.T. Weatherman Foundation etc.

The bitter irony is that many of these heroes say that at home, almost no one knows about their feat. Can you imagine? A man risks his life for democracy and freedom, and in his homeland there is… silence about it.

These true American patriots have chosen to stand shoulder to shoulder with a free Ukraine. They understand what many politicians do not understand – that the fate of the entire free world is being decided here.

As the Ukrainians say: "He who does not take risks, does not drink champagne." These people risk everything. And their own government is still afraid to give us enough weapons for a decisive victory.

Eternal memory to the fallen American heroes. And a deep bow to all who are now holding weapons in the Ukrainian trenches. 🇺🇸🇺🇦

  1. Those 92 will join the 7 Australians, 4 Kiwis, 15 British and 22 Canadians in Valhalla and a gallery of heroes remembered for evermore. Let’s support the 17,241 who are currently in the fight and pray for victory.

  2. When this war is over, hopefully with RuZZia dismantled from within, the entire EU and UKR should honor these brave volunteers with a special day, a museum section, a parade, and de facto citizenship offer.

  6. The Ukrainian military repatriates the remains of the fallen. It is sometimes a difficult process to identify their remains and repatriate them half a world away but it is done. They work with the Embassies of the home country in order to do that.

    There has been coverage of Americans fighting here on CNN, Fox, NYT, etc. however the major reason there isn’t more is because most Americans fighting here or who have fought here don’t want publicity and don’t want attention on them. Most of them do not want to talk to major media and never will.

    The Ukrainian military also gives explicit instructions not to discuss the amount of foreigners fighting here or the amount coming from which nationality with the press.

  8. I said back during the first two years, good ideals and good actions prove out in this war. Shared good ideals, and shared good actions have drawn many, and will continue to do so, and will draw some to summon their full measure.

    And then this potent combination — historic in its dimensions — ran into our current set of challenges.

    I still say good ideals and good actions prove out. The deep madness and inhumanity of this war is the product of a nihilistic state vomiting forth all it is left with. Dreams of murder. There is no defense for Russia possible.

  11. The Americans in Ukraine fighting for freedom is the Americans Im proud of. Heroes every one of them.

  13. People from any nationality that fight for the people of Ukraine aren’t just heroes of their country or Ukraine, they’re humanity’s heroes. I would think they are the best of us, not just the best of their nation, but the best in humanity. God bless’em. I’m thankful that champions like that exist, they inspire and bring great hope. 🌎🇺🇦💪
