Looks like the celebrations in the other thread may have been a little premature. But, on the upside, Israel killed the son of a leader. I’m sure that will bring much joy to some.
Even with consent and advanced knowledge from all parties Israel still can’t accomplish anything lmfao
The problem with killing the leaders of your enemy is that there is no one with the credibility to lead them out of war if a peace deal opportunity comes along.
Even the British knew this. They left the IRA leadership alive. And it worked out that was key to peace.
Israel will never have security until it does a peace deal.
Assuming Israel didn’t get approval from anyone in the region, it’s looking like they violated the airspace of three or more countries and attacked one, all to kill a Qatari security guy, a (Hamas) politician’s son, and an “aide”. Possibly some bodyguard types too, unconfirmed right now.
Israel is actually beginning to defeat itself, Vietnam War style.
Alive or not, it doesn’t matter.. All it matters is that they tanked the peace talks, and they will continue to kill and destroy everything in their path. US peace plan was a farce.
Hamas also claimed Muhammad Sinwar survived the strike on the European Hospital – only to admit he was killed over four months later. I wouldn’t hold my breath for confirmation that the strike was a success from Hamas.
