I don’t understand how refusing Russian tourists would help Ukraine. It’s actually worse for the Russian economy if more Russians go holiday and spend their already weak money on abroad.

These constant criticisms are getting annoying. These countries helped you a lot, but they might not be able to tank their entire economy for you.
When Russian tourists go to another country they have to change their currency -> that makes their currency worth less. Also they help other economies instead of the Russian economy (especially hurtful ’cause of sanctions).
There is no way Russian tourism helps Russia.
The thing is, russians use turkey as a relay to visit the rest of europe.
There is so much rebound tourism this year that there’s no need to coddle russian tourists. At least in greece it seems there will be no shortage of visitors, there ‘s a shortage of workers instead

A redditor called AmericanHawk (edit to add I misread Armenian, although that does make it a more direct troll acc) posts a dodgy link about Turkey favouring Russia, even though Turkey provided the drone expertise Ukraine is use against Russia now, and previously against Armenia.
Sounds like a russian/british troll account.
Keep in mind that Turkey accepts the Mir card – something they presumably did in anticipation of one day being sanctioned by the west. It’ll be interesting to see if the west decides to sanction the Turkish banks using the Russian payments system.
Even more interesting to see how Turkey retaliates to those sanctions…
Anything else Khan Zelensky?
Criticizing Germany is one thing, criticizing the Sultan delivering you Bayraktars and closing the Black Sea to military vessels is another. This is a big mistake IMHO.
Zelensky should criticize eu and U.S for sanctioning Turkey. Our economy isn’t in a state to refuse anyone.
We helped you before anyone else. We still help while staying neutral as possible.
Let’s also not forget that Turkey doesn’t trust the west (Ukraine shouldn’t too, as we saw how they were ready to give up Ukraine if it didn’t resist). Because you guys pulled out Air defence systems in Turkey, 1 week after we shot down a Russian jet.
We’re pro-ukraine in Turkey and I think we should give them whatever weapon they want for free and cut the russian oil and gas but the Russians contribute a lot to the economy in the southern regions of Turkey. The more money they spend here the less they spend in Mordor Federation.

He says Turkiye should be neutral, for weeks. A neutral Turkiye couldn’t sell weapons, send donation to Ukraine. Probably a neutral country couldn’t take refugees too. I think he should know what he really wants, we don’t take money from EU or USA to live another day.
