1. Recently replaced the car, the Insignia decided it’s cambelt didn’t need teeth, it was wrong.

   Replaced it with a Combo Life, we have three dogs so need the space.

   Ordered a cage that we thought would fit.

   Arrived Monday.

   It was too big.

   Called the supplier and they’ve agreed a swap for the next size down with a small refund and free return shipping.

   Decided I’ll take that as a win.

2. Cloudmonster 2 for £50 off, happy days.

   Plus it turns out I’d been calculating something wrong and the error is in my favour, so that’s nice.

3. I’ve lost enough weight that my feet have shrunk, and I now fit comfortably in kids trainers

   Taking my time in picking a pair as that’s one step closer to doing some real exercise, and my brain doesn’t appear to like that thought

4. £3,500 tax rebate. But a £2,000 dentist bill. Feel like I’m playing Monopoly, but I’m slightly up so that’s ok

5. Said I’m leaving my 2nd job 2 weeks early, for multiple reasons. Although I’ll miss the extra £150ish a week it brings in, I get all my time in the evenings back and I will be under a hell of a lot less stress, which hopefully should have the right knock-on effects. Roll on 8pm Friday.

6. Half hour lovely walk to work along the river. Relaxing, beautiful and stunning.

7. Water was turned off in my area yesterday, thanks to a burst pipe. I’d gotten a text thanks to being on priority services register, but since it was an unexpected issue the alert didn’t come in time for me to prepare for the lack of water. 😩

   Where’s the win? It led to me calling the water company to see if I could get more info on what was happening, and I ended up going through a quick assessment to see if I was eligible for lower rates. My water bill got slashed. Thanks burst pipe!

8. I’m getting a few more followers on my tiktok. I build gunpla on live and have a streaky community of about 7-8 people who come and chat to me while I build. It’s not much but it’s enough that I’ve been able to generate about £20 and I’ve used this to buy a kit which I’m giving back to one of those followers

9. we’re going to japan in november and over the last two weeks i’ve managed to book tickets to all the things we want to do, this morning i got the ones i thought would be most difficult which were the ghibli park tickets!

   the only ones not on sale yet are the fast pass tickets for universal studios and some sumo wrestling tickets too. should be all booked up in 10 days time!

10. I avoided having to talk to a human and used the live chat function to do the rigmarole with car insurance renewal and knocked a couple of hundred pounds off!

11. Our surveyor is carrying out the homebuyers report today, for the dream house we’re in the process of buying.

    Even if he finds some things that need attention, we’re going to be happy enough as we’re getting a relative bargain.

12. Went for a run for the second morning in a row. Been a while so it has been literally painful. I’ve been using my brain a lot lately and have definitely neglected my body.

    And then had to take the dog for a walk so my legs are feeling it now!

13. I GOT A JOB

    I went on a cheese tour and tasting which was fascinating and spent bleep in the shop

    Fussed a random cat , a random kitten , random doggos and neighbourhood cat just in the last few days.

    4 new plants

    My first ever passport arrived , does this and a job make me a real proper adult? Lol.

14. The estate agent put the house up on the market yesterday, the energy rating is being audited today. That means the ball is finally rolling and we can begin to make plans of moving out into our own place!

15. Found a load of old Vic & Bob DVDs in a charity shop, so I’m going to rip them onto Plex for enjoyment later on.

16. Worked yesterday and Monday, nothing today so going to help Grandparents with a few bits and bobs. Wish me luck
