In the village of Wyryki (Lublin Voivodeship), drone debris fell on a residential house, damaging the roof and a car. No one was injured.

Local residents reported hearing an explosion and seeing Polish fighter jets in the sky.

Emergency services are on site assessing the damage.

  3. Try as I might in scrying the damage done to a car and a residential house, but I can’t find a justifiable reason to invoke Article 5. Reason enough to patrol one’s airspace with increased vigilance but little else.

  5. If ever we need confirmation that Ukraine is defending and fighting for the whole of Europe. If ever anyone needs persuading that it’s in Europe’s interest to stop the russian aggression in Ukraine now. If Ukraine falls, the next waves of drones will be launched not from russia, but from russian-occupied Ukrainian territories much closer to the rest of Europe. Do not take peace for granted. Peace needs to be safeguarded especially when under military threat from a ruthless aggressor that’s russia.

  8. Testing the NATO limits… Unfortunately, NATO will do nothing except to try to destroy the drones. Let see how they react if one of their citizens is wounded or worse due to these incursions. But I fear it won’t be enough…

  10. Poland should retaliate, hit a shaheed factory or storage facility. Otherwise they are weak in Russia’s eyes.

  13. The missile that hit Polish territory in 2022 was Ukrainian according to the former Polish president Duda, not Russian as was reported all over the news back then. High probability this is the case here with the drones as well.

  14. How do we even know they were russian drones? A lot ot people are saying in tiktok they are ukrainian drones. Theryre trying to involve poland into the war. I know they are most likely russian but many people think to seem not.
