The absolute classic. I wasted hours on this.
I do love a bit of pinball, despite being crap at it on actual machines. Have you been to any of the pinball bars that have popped up everywhere? Great fun.
Anyway, come chat about what you've been playing this week – all forms of games count!

Haven’t fired up the playstation in ages.
Anyone recommend some lesser known single player RPGs? Done the usual Red Dead, Cyberpunk, God of War, Last of Us etc
There’s an Android version of this that was ported by the community from the original source code

I’m gearing up for borderlands 4 launching tomorrow.
I’ve loved the others and I’m excited to see what this one has to provide.
Cross platform multiplayer is also really appealing.
GoG added the “Elite Force” mod for SWAT4, so I’ve been replaying that the past few days.
I swear to god, if i hear or read about Silksong ONE MORE TIME…
Spyro year of the dragon! I recently discovered the joy of tge R36s which has let me relive all my childhood classics. Also been playing the pokemon gba games.
Used to play this when I’d given up pretending to know how to play Minesweeper 😎
KCD 2 new dlc dropped yesterday 😀
Going to have to start watching Biffa again on YouTube to get my head around traffic in Cities Skylines. I’m using a realistic population model and everything just grinds to a halt.

🤔
Mostly working on wrapping up Oblivion so I can make room on my Xbox. The remastered version is over 120GB. Just gotta finish Shivering Isles and wrap up the main quest for the last few achievements.
I’m tempted to pick up OG Oblivion since it’s so damn cheap, and I’d love to experience it again. Plus it’s waaaay smaller.
I’ve definitely been lagging on the games front these past few months
I still need to complete SOMA and GTA V! I don’t like moving on to other games without completing the ones I’m on.
I’m also playing a lot of Team fight Tactics recently but after many many games I’ve decided that I really don’t like this current set, I find it a bit boring.
I might even resub to WoW 👀
Decisions decisions
Put Silksong on hold as Im stuck on the Widow boss, so I’ve resorted to Soulstone Survivors to relieve the stress!
Finally saw credits in Donkey Kong Bananza, only to find there is significant post-game content. I’m enjoying it but I’m ready for something else (maybe Silksong) but I really want to feel like I completed it (not necessarily 100%, but seeing all story content at least) and I know if I put it down planning on coming back to it later, I won’t.
Reminds me of True Pinball on the PS1, which I also spent many hours playing. Still got it somewhere along with the thirty or so other PS1 games.
This week I finally got the platinum for **Death Stranding 2**. I slightly cheesed the last order by using the Magellan to fast travel, you still have it marked complete and get 5 stars for those annoying pricks so I’m ok with that. Maybe one day I’ll go back and do the remaining orders but for now I’m happy to put it down.
Haven’t started anything else yet, not sure what yet. Might just go back to Returnal cos it’s so much fun and I’ve a few trophies left.
Just started RDR2 on the steam deck, yeehaw!
I remember this game
Desperately want to get the Oblivion remake, but can’t justify the spend at this point, so I’ve been diving back into Dead Island 2 with a Dani play through
Two weeks ago I said I’d bit and buy Factorio. I did.
This game has taken over my life.
From making sure all my turrets are near my ammo conveyor belt which circles my base, to wondering if there’s a more efficient way to get my steel plates around all assemblers that need them, and trying to figure out why that automated train won’t turn round and return- it’s so addictive.
Still on Borderlands 3 and Alone in the Dark.
I got an itch to play Skyrim again, I get the itch around autumn every year. I decided to try a few auto downloaded modlists, some were great but they seemed a little too bloated and the difficulty always seemed a bit much.
I’m now curating my own modlist and remembered quickly why I went with the auto installs in the first place, I haven’t played any Skyrim at all and have just been downloading and testing mods for like 3 days in my spare time, it’s enjoyable but I want to actually play lol
Continuing the Red Dead 2 journey to completion. Parked all the story stuff, working my way through all the side tasks and challenges. Definitely not a quick thing but find it quite relaxing when I have some spare time.
Nearly finished my run on Abiotic Factor, it’s by far my new favourite survival crafting game, heavily inspired by the original Half Life.
Spent about 80 hours on it just building my base, gathering materials with my buddies and thinking of elaborate ways to mess with them, it’s been immense fun. Anyone who likes slow burners like Valheim or Subnautica I’d highly recommend it!
Helldivers 2 has a new update that is bonkers. Most veterans had nailed the game and were playing on max difficulty until this update came along with some awesome enemies including a giant sand worm.
You fail miserably because it’s totally unfair but it’s the most fun I had in ages.
I’ve recently started Red Dead 2 and I’m just terrible at it. I’m fairly new-ish to RPGs. Over the last few years I’ve played all the Dragon Age games and some of Witcher 3. Finished BG3 recently and absolutely loved it. Decided to give Red Dead 2 a go and I just get killed all the time by random huge groups on the road! Figured I was too slow using Dead Eye but last time I used it straight away but still got shot to pieces, as did my beloved horse which seemed to disappear completely. Still salty about that. I love the story, the world, I just get completely overpowered.
Still playing **Lies of P** whenever I get the chance, just want to complete it now so I can go back to **Expedition 33**. Not that I’m not enjoying it, it just doesn’t grab me the same as other games in the genre.
I’ve just started Elden Ring, after hating the previous souls games. But I’m loving it!
Having the room to explore (run away) reduces the stress of it all.
Had a big break from games for a while. Got back into it yesterday. Which is funny because I thought I’d be doing the opposite and gaming like mad while I’m unemployed
Finished off Death Stranding 2 yesterday – rather disappointed tbh didn’t like it as much as the first one, fell apart a bit at the end to me
Getting back into Oldschool RuneScape which has been fun, and trying out doing some vids for YouTube as a bit of a hobby but idk if I’ll stick with it, it’s somewhat enjoyable but it’s a lot of effort
Going to hop on the Oblivion Remaster now there have been a few patches, fingers crossed for only a standard buggy play through rather than an absolutely broken one
Also got my eye on Borderlands 4 but I’m waiting to see how it works on consoles. Bit concerned that we haven’t seen any gameplay on PS5 yet but hopefully it’s nothing to worry about
Super Mario World on the Snes – currently on 88 exits
Well, after hearing all the fuss about Silksong, I gave Hollow Knight a try. It’s free on PSPlus, so why not!! 🤷🏻♂️ Actually very good, but I’m not as adept as I used to be with hand eye coordination, so too much dying unfortunately.
Also giving Dredge another play through, as it’s a few years since I played it, and it’s a great little time waster if anyone is intrigued. Worth a go for sure.
