His legacy will live on, with the death of others.
Played it at my grandfathers funeral back in 2004 at his request.
Life’s a piece of shit…
That is our humour!
They also play it after Iron Maiden concerts have finished!
Panicked then, I thought he was Dead. Nope he’s alive. Thank fuck
I think singing life is a piece of shit… Is the most acceptable form of swearing. If my kids sang it, I couldn’t chastise them for singing it. it should never be censored
Eric Idle should go down as one of the greatest philosphers the world has ever known.
My great uncle had it at his funeral in January and my dad had it at his 30 years ago.
It was my Dads funeral song.he loved it
My dad was an older dad (had me at 42) and since I was 16 he had been very vocal about what he wanted for his funeral. He wanted to be cremated with certain songs played at certain times and this is one he wanted. He wanted it to be played at the end. He passed away when I was 25 and told my uncle what my dad had wanted. Unfortunately his wishes wasn’t met so when I received his ashes, I sat with them and played the music he should have had, ending with this one <3
Sorry for the long comment. It’s not often I get to speak about my dad
Played at my Dad’s funeral.
They hit on the perfect song for cheering up. It is physically impossible to sing that song without smiling.
Monty Python will live on forever in my heart. For now, I’m just gonna do a silly walk in my local park.
