
Born in Alice Street, Cwmbwrla, Swansea in 1931, Il Gigante Buono (The Gentle Giant) played for Juve between 1957 and 1962. He won three Serie A championships, two Coppa Italia, was once the league's top scorer and twice voted into the league team of the year. In 1997, Juventus fans voted him as their best ever foreign player.
