SLHS Project Graduation Giving Pump

Consumers can visit the Shell station in Golden Meadow to fill up at the designated fueling pumps and support South Lafourche High School Project Graduation

Lafourche High School (SLHS) Project Graduation is teaming up with Jester’s Court for The Giving Pump at Shell to drive positive change in Golden Meadow by giving back. Starting September 1 and running through October 31, a portion of the purchases made by customers who use Pumps 1-2 designated with purple signage at the Shell station, located at 703 N. Alex Plaisance Blvd. in Golden Meadow, La., will support SLHS Project Graduation.

The Giving Pump will be specially marked with purple signage at participating Shell gas stations to inspire consumers to support this local charity when fueling up. With no additional cost when filling up, it’s easy to participate in the program.

“Our organization is very grateful to Jester’s Court for the opportunity to take part in such an amazing program. Our graduating seniors will greatly benefit from their generosity,” said Jean Orgeron-Wells, South Lafourche Project Graduation Treasurer.

This year, nearly 6,500 Shell stations across the U.S. are participating in this two-month initiative to support 400 local charities. Since 2021, Shell wholesalers and retailers have donated to and supported over 750 charities through The Giving Pump.

Those looking to find a participating station can visit shell.us/givingpump or for additional program details, participating sites and content on local charities.
