  1. TLDR:

    * Miranda Cosgrove speaks to PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s issue about her experience as a former child star
    * Acting is a “really strange” profession for kids, the *iCarly* star says, recalling her time growing up in the spotlight
    * Parents of kids who want to act should “be ready for it to get very complicated,” she advises

  2. I want child actors banned. I want to see grown ass adults doing children’s roles.

  3. It’s refreshing to see how well she aged and that she didn’t go down the path of cosmetic surgery like so many have. Also nice to hear how her parents were supportive and not “managers” like many others

  4. Look lady, if I was any good at pulling out I wouldn’t have any kids. 🤷

  5. Know when to pull your kids out before an executive won’t pull out of your kids.

  6. Meanwhile Trump had similar advice:

“You need to know when to pull out of the kid”.

  7. If they knew when to pull out this whole thread wouldn’t be necessary…

  8. Good parents will listen to this warning, bad parents to use and abuse their kids for profit.

  9. Jennette McCurdy’s book about this is such a difficult read but it shows how hard it is for the kids. Miranda was the most supportive costar and friend like, ever from what it seems though and actually well adjusted which is really rare.

  10. If they knew when to pull out they wouldn’t have kids in the first place

  11. Parents be like “but lil Susie says she’s fine and wants to act”

  12. She was terribly misquoted here. Her statement was “know when to pull a producer out of your kid”.
