Enrique Sacau has been named chair of Luxembourg-based fintech firm Next Gate Tech, taking up the post with immediate effect, the firm said on Tuesday.
Sacau is currently CEO Europe at FNZ Group, which runs an investment platform for wealth management advisories, and formerly was group CEO of Kneip, a fund data and reporting services firm that is now part of Clearstream. He previously served on Next Gate Tech’s board of directors from 2023 to 2024.
Next Gate Tech, founded in 2019, provides a data management and reporting platform for asset management and investment fund firms.
The startup posted a net loss of €3.1 million for the financial year ending 31 December 2024 and employed 28 staff last year, according to its latest annual report.
