MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Women are always making an impact in the business world. On Wednesday, Shayna Mace with BRAVA magazine joined WMTV and spoke about some of the women in the Madison area who are making big waves.
Victoria Thomas
Co-owner of Kellymoss Racing in Fitchburg, Victoria’s business focuses on restoring and racing Porsches around the United States. She strives to get more women involved in racing and the automotive industry. In 2023, they made history by having the first woman driver compete in the Porsche Carerra Cup North America on their team.
Anne Neujahr Morrison
Anne is making a dent in male-dominated field as she owns a real estate development firm. It’s a family affair as her sister works for the firm. They have completed a number of projects, including the Ella Apartments. Mace explained they are in the midst of redeveloping a 10-acre lot in downtown Madison for a total of 1,200 new apartments units.
Nikki Stafford
Nikki is the president of the American Family Children’s Hospital and system vice president of UW Health Kids. She is leading the charge to build out the hospital’s currently empty sixth floor. When the hospital first opened its doors in 2007, the sixth floor was left empty to meet future needs.
