    After five decades in Hollywood, he doesn’t need Marvel checks he wants roles with substance, not just spectacle.

  4. Daniel Day Lewis should take notes. Don’t say I’m retiring. Just say if the right thing comes along you’ll take it but otherwise you are chilling.

  5. He was great as the family ‘fixer’ in the Fall of the House of Usher.

  6. Plenty of atypical roles in Marvel. He could have been Madisynn.

  7. He’s Luke Skywalker and one of the best Jokers (imo the best). How can you top that?

  8. What’s most important is that he enjoys his job and having fun with it.

  9. IDK, his Joker is still iconic, no one can compete with that.

    He literally created the gold standard for the character.

  19. The dude’s a legend. He can do what he wants without having to explain anything to anyone. If Jaws gets a remake and he wants to play the shark y’all best get him some flippers.

  23. Coincidentally, no one is ASKING him to be in ANY films. That actually has a budget, anyway…

  25. Tbf, I’d love to see him as a villain in a Marvel movie. Even if he was just a 1 off, it would be pretty cool.

  27. Look I think Hamill is great both as an actor and as a person. However someone really needs to tell all these older folks in the bis to stop using Marvel Movie as a pejorative term. It comes off as out of touch, screams the exact opposite of what they are saying, and drips with jealousy. Looking directly at Tarantino & Scorsese.
