Zagreb, 11 September 2025 – Croatia Airlines, the country’s national carrier and a member of the Star Alliance, recently treated passengers on its Zagreb–Dubrovnik service to a new experience aboard the latest Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
In partnership with Hrvatski Telekom, all travellers on the special flight became part of a live promotion of the company’s Magenta Moments programme.
Every passenger received free Wi-Fi access codes for use during the flight, as well as exclusive surprise gifts.
A special prize draw saw three lucky passengers discover “lucky cards” in their seat pockets, each winning a brand new iPhone.

The collaboration with Hrvatski Telekom highlights the airline’s focus on enhancing the travel experience through innovative partnerships.
By offering exclusive benefits to Magenta Moments members, Croatia Airlines continues to deliver added value to its passengers while showcasing the creativity of both brands.
The flight also underlined a significant technological step forward for the airline. The Airbus A220 allows Croatia Airlines, for the first time in its history, to provide internet connectivity during flights.

Passengers can now connect their devices in aeroplane mode to browse, work, or keep in touch with family and friends.
Each seat also comes equipped with USB-A and USB-C ports, as well as device holders conveniently placed above the tray tables.
Croatia Airlines began its fleet renewal programme in July 2024, coinciding with the airline’s 35th anniversary.

This is the largest project in the company’s history, with six A220 aircraft already in service. By 2027, the carrier plans to operate 15 new A220 aircraft – 13 of the larger A220-300 model with 149 seats, and two A220-100 aircraft with 127 seats.
The memorable Zagreb–Dubrovnik flight not only celebrated the airline’s investment in cutting-edge technology but also highlighted Croatia Airlines’ ongoing mission to enrich the passenger experience through innovation and strategic partnerships.
