    how could americans choose someone with such a background to be commander of Nato, This is a huge scandal and the reason why our response to the attack on poland been so tame

    We are not gonna accept drone attacks and missiles at Poland.

  2. Support for a peace settlement in the Ukraine conflict has reached a all-time high, a new Russian poll has found.

    Two-thirds of Russians (66%) want to see an end to the conflict.

    27% support maintaining military operations (the lowest recorded).

    Analysis:

    By gender:

    Men: 38% continue, 56% peace talks

    Women: 19%, 74%

    By age:

    Under 24: 13%, 80%

    Under-40: 22%, 74%

    Under-50%: 28%, 62%

    Over-50: 35%, 59%.

  3. I’m assuming that similar to in Ukraine, this is contingent on an *advantageous* peace? I’m curious what would happen if you asked whether they would support peace over military operations if:

    1. There was a possibility of Ukraine joining the EU after the war
    2. There was a possibility of Zelensky being re-elected
    3. There was a possibility of Ukraine receiving security guarantees to prevent a third invasion

  4. Only took them 3.5 years to not wish for completely destroying a country and killing civilians!

    Good for them, maybe in a year or two and couple more hundreds of thousands of dead and their dictator will actually decide to pursue peace for real, and not just stall.
