Not invited to Switzerland and Sweden, Bersant Celina speaks about Kosovo

Kosovo national team midfielder Bersant Celina spoke to the Swedish platform “FotbollDirekt”, where he commented on his situation at “Dardans”, the lack of an invitation from coach Franco Foda, as well as Kosovo’s historic victory over Sweden.

Celina, who is currently active in the Swedish elite, said that he was not part of the last Kosovo list, but hopes that his return will happen very soon, in October.

“I wasn’t invited to Kosovo recently. I hope to be invited in October,” Celina said.

He did not hide his emotions about Kosovo’s triumph over Sweden, a victory that has sparked enthusiasm and hope among Dardanian fans.

“I am very happy about Kosovo’s victory over Sweden,” the midfielder emphasized.

However, Celina remains realistic about the long and difficult road to the World Cup. According to him, anything is possible in football, especially after a big victory like the one against the Scandinavians.

“Qualifying for the World Cup is not easy, but you never know. The return match in Sweden will be a difficult one, but if you can win against Sweden once, why not win the second match as well,” said Celina.
