Does anyone else remember a pickled onion version of these growing up? I can't seem to find any trace online of the pickled onion version. Is my Internet searching skills shite or is this a Mandela Effect? Or maybe I just have a false memory?

  1. Yeah it was green and a blue/purple colour I think. Fucking great. Update: fucking hell I can’t find them in Google here either and I’ve gone on to page 2 of the search ffs

  2. Yes

I also remember them becoming 15p

Which was fucking confusing cause they were called fives

  3. Damn I can actually taste them just from reading this 😅😅

  4. I know they obviously have the newer Pickled Onion High Five version but damn can I find any trace online of the 90’s 5p version.

  5. Aye there was bacon and pickled onion.

Now I need to know that people remember bikers had spicy onion and cheese flavour.

  6. I remember the pickled onion ones too, can’t find a pic of them either but Jesus fuckin Christ those bacon ones were fucking elite

  7. This post is making me crave a packet of these, with a tip top !

  8. They were the business. Every now and again you’d get a ball of the coating and no crisp, parful altogether.

  9. I remember both Bacon and Pickled Onion as a child. I went into Ken’s Newsagents on the Shankill Road and it felt like i was rich with £2 pocket money lol. Oh the fond memories!.
