Hello dear people of r/Norway,

I am Nebojša, and I am a 17 y/o student from the Republic of Srpska (Province in Bosnia and Herzegovina). I come from a Military family, so my interest for everything Military related was huge, and a few months I started my own collection, with the final goal of having at least a single insignia from every Nation’s Armed Forces’.

I’ve started my collection by writing emails to the Armed Forces’ of the world, but I got a response from a very few nations and a few kind redditors, so my collection is small-ish. And my goal is to have at least a single insignia from as many nations possible.

I’ve sent a EMail to the Armed Forces’ in May of 2021 and I sadly didnt get a response. So I would like to ask you the people of r/Norway if you are/have served in the Armed Forces and you have some spare insignias to contact me

Best Regards,

Nebojša

  1. Should be easy to get a field patch from Brigade Nord (the Reindeer patch, as many visiting forces call it) or from any battalion or HV depending on who you come in contact with.
I traded my spares away a long time ago, but many have probably not and many probably don’t care about keeping their patches after service.
    Good luck! 🙂

  2. I don’t think I had a patch, I don’t remember it’s been almost 20 years, we used pins on our hats, don’t know if that’s of any interest, but mine is in a box in my mother’s attic and we live across the country from each other. Next time I’m over there I’ll see if I can find it and message you

  3. I have some interesting patches from several different units that i collected while i served. Send me a DM and we can figure something out 🙂

  4. From your 2nd photo – The Norwegian flag patch is upside down, you should flip it the other direction 🙂
